We are proud to announce the launch of CIRTEXCAM project, an ambitious three-year initiative aimed at revolutionizing circularity in the textile industry.

Led by FECSA (FÁBRICA ESPAÑOLA DE CONFECCIONES), the consortium brings together a high-level team including UDIT (Universidad de Diseño, Innovación y Tecnología), ASECOM MADRID, EvoEnzyme, Global Factor, Treelogic, T_NEUTRAL and Valoriza, with the collaboration of TECNALIA Research & Innovation, AITEX and HILATURAS ARNAU BARCELONA.

The project focuses on validating advanced technological solutions, ranging from eco-design and smart waste sorting to innovative mechanical, chemical and enzymatic recycling, to drive sustainability across the textile and clothing sector.

EvoEnzyme will lead the development of specific enzymatic solutions for the selective hydrolysis of components such as cotton, polyester and polyamide, enabling more efficient recycling and circular valorization.

The CIRTEXCAM project has been funded through the 2025 Call for Grants aimed at improving public-private cooperation in R&D&I through consortium-based driving-effect projects of the Regional Ministry of Education, Science and Universities of the Community of Madrid, and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF/FEDER).
