The EvoEnzyme team, represented by Javier Viña and Ivan Mateljak, attended the W-BioCat consortium meeting, hosted by the Jerzy Haber Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences.

It was an intensive few days of aligning research goals and reviewing the technical progress of the project. We were thrilled to have contributed through the open seminar led by Ivan Mateljak, whose talk on “Engineering enzymes through ancestral sequence reconstruction and chimeragenesis” drew great interest and reached a wide audience.

Thank you very much to our hosts for their warm hospitality, from the insightful lab tours to exploring the beautiful city of Kraków. These moments provided the perfect atmosphere for collaboration and for driving innovation forward.
