LACCASES

Laccases are ecological enzymes that use oxygen from air and release water as byproduct during the oxidation of a wide array of compounds so that they find dozens of applications in bioremediation, textile, pulp and paper, chemical and pharma industries.

The evolved mutant laccases from EvoEnzyme show a high-redox potential to work with high potential redox mediators (laccase mediator systems) and have been ad-hoc designed to show improved features (including tolerance to high temperature and extreme pH).
